Portfolio Planning
When the number of projects in a company increases, the need for managing and prioritizing the project portfolio increases too. The typical issues to manage are:
- Vision and strategy for the company.
- Financial targets.
- Resource allocation (short and long term).
To do so, the management must have access to updated information about the projects.
Often, the Project Management Office (PMO) provides this information.
The PMO’s task are to: Service the Management, service the Projects, develop and maintain processes and software, QA the project work, collect and report data and develop the competences needed in the project organisation.
In iPPM we possess many years of experience with these activities, and we can assist in specifying the the tasks, build the routines and processes and take part in the work at a daily basis.
